What Will Democrats Do About This?

ran is currently installing 3,000 centrifuges, a top lawmaker said Saturday in an announcement underlining that the country will continue to develop its nuclear program despite U.N. sanctions.
Enriched uranium is used to fuel nuclear reactors and to make nuclear weapons. Many countries, including the United States, believe that Iran is using its nuclear program as a cover to produce an atomic weapon. Iran says its program is only for generating electricity.
Iran last week barred 38 inspectors from the United Nations nuclear watchdog because they come from countries that voted for sanctions on Iran. State television did not give the nationalities of the 38 inspectors, and the IAEA could not immediately confirm their arrival in Iran.

If we take out the nuke sites President Bush is a war Criminal – If we do nothing the the President is an Idiot. I say let N.Y. city get banged. Then just maybe the rest of the country will wake up.
But won’t happen – the Lib will just say those poor Iranians were just protecting their land from the Evil Bush criminal

How can they do anything about it? Isn’t Bush the commander in Chief? your question should be: What is George Bush going to do about this?

  3. andy g

Ignore the problem and blame the republican president, as usual.

I’m not sure. But I do know the CIA says Iran doesn’t have a nuclear weapons making fascility. They’ve infiltrated the country, spied on them with Satellites and noticed no incoming or outgoing Nuclear weapons materials and manufacturing equipment anywhere in the country. Who knows, but I really hope we don’t go to war with Iran. I think it will be a bigger mistake than the going to war in Iraq.

They will have it eventually, so I think it’s best to learn to live with it. They obviously have the technology for it already and no matter what we do they will have. Stop being paranoid about everything, that is our main problem, it gets us into wars for the wrong reasons because every freaked out American goes into this preemptive mindset and starts dropping bombs on countries we cannot beat. We don’t have to worry about Iran’s nukes we need to worry about G.W.Bush having his finger on the button.

Blame the Republican President for not doing anything to stop Iran developing nuclear weapons.

I’m not going to do squat. You assume muslims are all evil suicide bombers and terrorists, just because they are muslim.

you know, if i was a country that saw a huge superpower bullying countries around me, and then when i tried to better myself by getting into the atomic age, but then being told by this super power bully i couldnt because i wasnt a democracy and wont let them control us…… i prolly wouldnt let them into my counrty either.
if they worked for years on it they might get one bomb, besides the fact that they would have to test it. Then we would know they had it and would intervene. Who are we to tell a country they can or cant do something within their own country…….a muth ****ing bully

  9. KERMIT M

I don’t know. What should any of us do about it?

  10. Madagann

Iran should be left alone to prove their intentions. Should they use a nuke, then the rest of the world should make Iran an unusable piece of radioactive waste.

It will take a plan so that won’t happen. Then they will have to itemize all the reasons it’s Bush’s fault, then they will talk a lot about it, and when it gets really sticky and still no plan Bush will have to make a move and THEN they will act! If he succeeds it will be because of them, if he fails it’s all his fault. Oh I forgot the part where they will give Bush the OK and then change their minds!

They will do nothing. They dont get the danger because they are too out of it.

WHAT IS THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF, GW BUSH DOING ABOUT THIS????????

  14. impalers

Nothing, when Pres. Bush leaves office and I am hoping he bombs them into the stone age. no army forces just air power. I am not optimistic of this being achieved, I believe the Dems want us to be on a level playing field with the rest of the world. Repubs do not.
And it is not just me that feels this way. see below.
“While I don’t agree with Bush on a single domestic issue, they are all trumped by the issue of terrorism, where he has enunciated the Bush Doctrine and proved his ability to fight this war.
The Democratic Party just doesn’t have the stomach to go after terrorists.”
    Ed Koch, a Democrat
    Former New York City Mayor
And if the Democratic Party doesn’t think that we know they know who the financial backers are of the terrorists. This is an excerpt from Larry King live.
Bill Clinton talking to Larry King.
“I remember exactly what happened. Bruce Lindsey said to me on the phone, ‘My God, a second plane has hit the tower.’ And I said, ‘Bin Laden did this.’ that’s the first thing I said. He said, ‘How can you be sure?’ I said ‘Because only bin Laden and the Iranians could set up the network to do this and they [the Iranians] wouldn’t do it because they have a country in targets. Bin Laden did it.’
I thought that my virtual obsession with him was well placed and I was full of regret that I didn’t get him.”

The question should be “Why is Russia supplying nuclear technology to Iran”. To lead off by saying what would democrats do is a oxy-moron. I think President Bush should be doing something about this now. It’s a problem that may not wait until later. The US isn’t in a position to do anything at this time because President Bush has our troops tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan. What about North Korea? They have already have a nuclear weapons program, what has he done about that?

  16. rhinestones

Isn’t Bush the president? I don’t see Bush doing anything about this, either. It seems to be both are scared to take action against Iran.

  17. penhead7

The dems won’t do squat. They’ll just criticize Bush for whatever move he makes.
And YES! I DO BELIEVE ALL MUSLIMS ARE SUICIDE BOMBER TERRORISTS!!!
    God bless America!

  18. Jim from the Midwest

I am Pro-Bush and a staunch advocate of his M.E. policies but this is clearly a problem for the E.U. Iran doesn’t yet have the technology to strike the US but it can level old Europe, all of the Balkans and a greater majority of the old Soviet Union if nuclear armed.
Iran sits on a substantial petroleum reserve and has no need for nuclear energy. Watch and see how many Iranian agents are taken in Iraq and made public. Iran’s president is making his bones about his beliefs. If you listen carefully you will here the rhetoric of Adolf Hitler interntwined in his messages.
