I have a B.S. and M.S. in civil and envinronmental engineering, but I think I made the wrong career choice. What would it take for me to get into medical school (in the US)? Do I need an entirely new B.S. degree? Or could I just take some key classes and then apply?

I’m researching the different jobs in the medical field. I’m not interested in becoming a nurse or PT or any type of assistant. I’m looking for a job that is not too time consuming so that after med school and when I have an established family, I can actually spend time with them… something like an optometrist. I don’t mind spending time in school, and I do well enough in school, so i don’t mind hard work in school.
How is is x-ray or anesthesiology?… Any suggestions would be great!

I would like to work in the medical field but prefer doing paperwork over seeing patients. I wouldn’t mind doing some patient work (blood tests, vitals, etc.) but I’d much rather be running the office. I was recently dismissed from medical school for not passing the boards after the second attempt. Other than applying to an offshore med school or changing careers are there any other avenues I can use to take the boards again? Possibly continue my medical education? I have completed the first two years of medical school successfully, what are my options?

What Would Happen If You Approached Light Speed On Earth?

When discussing relativity and how time slows down as you approach light speed the example used is always, “If you went on a 20-year trip in space at light speed, thousands of years would pass back on earth…”etc.
My question is really a thought experiment:
If you had a centrifuge capable of spinning at near light speed on earth, and you had a volunteer to ride in it (inertial dampening has been invented ) how would this appear to an observer viewing the centrifuge?
1. Would the centrifuge creep along at an almost unmeasurable speed to the observer because time has slowed down to a crawl for the centrifuge?
2. Would the centrifuge disappear because as time slowed, the movement of the earth in it’s own relative time caused it to leave the centrifuge behind in open space?
Basically, I find the whole “Spaceship trip” example too easy.
Any of you physics majors able to conduct this thought experiment?

I do not have any problems with respiratory system. The only problem I have is a slight deformation of internasal septum. Can it create any problems for me during medical examination? In Canadian aviation regulations it is mentioned “There shall be free nasal air entry on both sides”. What do they exactly mean by free nasal air entry?
