I have a B.S. and M.S. in civil and envinronmental engineering, but I think I made the wrong career choice. What would it take for me to get into medical school (in the US)? Do I need an entirely new B.S. degree? Or could I just take some key classes and then apply?

I would like to work in the medical field but prefer doing paperwork over seeing patients. I wouldn’t mind doing some patient work (blood tests, vitals, etc.) but I’d much rather be running the office. Any suggestions on what degree or field of study would be best to have (business, medical assistant, etc)? Thanks!

I know that obviously Pre-med and Pre-medicine are good to have but I was just wondering if there were any other majors that would look well when entering a medical school application. Thanks.
