Just Wondering How Far Iran Has To Go In Developing Nukes Before Obama Acts?
TEHRAN, Iran –
“Iran plans to install a more advanced type of centrifuge at its newly revealed uranium enrichment site, an Iranian newspaper reported Tuesday, a development certain to add to international concerns about the country’s nuclear work.”
We invaded Iraq based on a LOT less, which leading democrats supported. So I’m just wondering if we have to wait until Iran actually HAS a nuclear weapon before taking them seriously?
I think we (the entire “free” world, not just the US) have the right and the obligation to destroy (bomb) the nuclear production facilities of “rogue” states/dictatorships, such as N Korea and Iran.
Once they are able to produce sufficient material/weapons, they are crazy/selfish/greedy enough to sell them to the highest bidder. If that happens, we are all screwed!

(Those who argue “if the US can have nukes, WHY can’t Iran?”, the US and USSR/Russia have been working for many years to reduce those numbers significantly, and that continues. )
“we invaded Iraq based on a lot less…” And we’re still paying dearly for it… If Iran wanted a nuclear weapon they could buy one, its not that difficult to attain. How many times has N. Korea gone down this same road, under how many Presidents, and what have been the results?
You know what this all sounds like? A re-hash of the “domino theory”

They’d nuke Tel Aviv and sell nuclear weapons to al-Qaida, and Obama would still be trying to reason with them diplomatically. It’s a good thing for all of us that Netanyahu has more stones than Obama. Obama doesn’t even realize that when Netanyahu acts, he will save American skins, as well as Israeli. Al-Qaida with nukes would make 9/11 look like a common suicide bombing attack.

Israel will act before Barack Obama. Obama knows this, becuase Israel has done it before (ie. Syria).
Obama supports Israel as much as Carter did…which is hardly at all.
Maybe when you can toast marshmallows on what left of NYC…but I doubt even then.

I keep seeing these articles where people here in the states, and Israel, are so intent on getting into another unjust war, with Iran. Reason? strictly because they will not kiss our butts and listen to our demands that are only for the purpose of protecting Israel, no other reason.
Now, before you get your balls in an uproar, answer one question, have you read the terms of the NPT ?
I doubt it, as Iran has followed the treaty almost to a “T” and is allowed by the treaty to pursue nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, including the enrichment of Uranium, and so far, no one has shown any proof that they have done otherwise, no one.
It also states that no signatory nation shall help, share knowledge or nuclear weapons with any non signatory nation, a rule and law that the United States has violated on numerous occasions.
Iran has like North korea, allowed the international inspectors into their facilities until the US and Israel insisted they were cheating, and both countries after these constant accusations, threw them out.
Look at another fact, although Israel never did sign the NPT, they along with the United States, HAS NEVER allowed any inspectors into our facilities as required under the terms.
Now for one last item, none of these countries that has the bomb has used them, except the US, and I seriously doubt if Iran, should the get one, will be the first to use it, but rather as a detrerrent against any attack by Israel, in which case I would not blame them for retaliating.
