Laboratory Instruments

I am going for my first gynecological exam in a few months.
Can I catch someone elses stds sitting on examining table? Will the instruments be clean enough to be inside of me.

   Obviously, Sedrik is not a doctor.
   You’re perfectly safe. Between appointments they clean the table and put fresh paper on it. The instruments are sterilized. The doctor will wash his or her hands and wear gloves.
