How Many Of You In The Medical Field Marry Medical People?
im about to graduate with a degree in business and my gf is about to be a RN. lately we have been talking about getting married after we finish school. just curious what other nurses or medical people felt about marring outside the medical field.
My wife is not in the medical field (she’s a teacher) and I like it that way. When I’m out of the hospital, I don’t want to talk about work.
Generally I agree–one person in the medical field is enough! That being said, I am an ER PA and I married an ER doc, hummmmm….it is nice to have someone to discuss the issues of work with who understands. I dated a cop for several years and he NEVER understood why I was so tired, stressed and burned out…then HE became a PA too, HAHAHA.
Most of the docs we socialize with (male & female) did not marry other medical people–makes for a more varied discussion and interest.
One person in the medical field is enough! She is going to be so busy and tired once she becomes a nurse.
