I don’t know what else to do we have 7,000.00 worth of medical bills that I owe and will soon be turned over for collection.

This is what I did. If you had insurance that paid for part of the bill but not all, ask them to accept that as payment in full since you can not get blood from a turnup. If you had no insurance to begin with you can find out how much of the bill the insurance co would have paid, and then ask the company if they will accept that amount, of course they may give you a bad time, but if they were willing to take it from one company why not you. Then when you get the to agree (don’t give up they will) set up a payment scale you can afford, they really want the money so they will work with you. If whoever you talk to isn’t being receptive to you, ask to talk to someone else, or better yet their supervisor.

Get a job and tell the hospital you can make payments. They will work with you. Don’t declare bankruptcy or anything stupid like that. It might take a few years to pay them off, but as long as you send them something every month they can’t turn you over to collections.
